Children's Ministry: Exploring God's Love Together
At Providence we love families and rejoice with them as children grow, both physically and spiritually. From birth through sixth grade, our dedicated teachers provide an age appropriate, Bible-centered approach to leading each child to discover the depths of God's love.
On Sunday mornings, children are welcomed into CONNECT groups in the Education Annex. During the worship service, children preschool through second grade may continue to learn during Children's Church. Nursery is provided for children ages two and younger, but of course, your child is always welcome to join you in the sanctuary, if you prefer. On Wednesday nights, children three-years-old through sixth grade are invited to TeamKID for Bible study, activities, games, and a "sack snack." Click on the TeamKID card to register your child.
Special events, including Vacation Bible School, are scheduled throughout the year.
Youth Ministry: Empowering young people by discipling them in God's ways.
Our young people need to know that they matter. We strive to make sure that they are heard and accepted, as we equip them for a life dedicated to Christ. Students in grades 7 through 12 come together to worship God and fellowship with each other, and we rejoice as they take critical steps toward spiritual maturity.
Sunday CONNECT Bible study is at 9:30 AM. Devoted leaders teach the Bible in a dedicated space for the age group. Their studies encourage and challenge them as them learn to lead Christian lives.
Wednesday evening are special, as students build relationships and strengthen their faith. The youth gather at 6:00 PM for Bible Study and a "sack snack."
Adult Ministry: Empowering followers to worship and serve.
Adults at Providence develop lasting relationship as we learn and serve God in the church and community. Sunday CONNECT brings an opportunity for Bible study at 9:30 AM while Wednesday nights are dedicated to prayer at 6:00 PM.
Men's Ministry undertakes service projects throughout the community and sponsors a men's breakfast. There are two women's groups: Women on Mission meets the second Tuesday of each month at 1:30 PM and the Working Women's Worship Bees meets the third Monday at 6:00 PM. Both groups enjoy fellowship and engage in ministry projects. Seasonal Bible studies are scheduled throughout the year for both men and women.
Senior Adult Ministry: Living Life to the Fullest
Our Senior Adults are an important part of the church's mission. We serve through the church as teachers, leaders, musicians, greeters, and in many other capacities. There is room for all ages.
Sunday CONNECT groups provide an excellent opportunity for senior adults to study and fellowship together. In addition, the group gathers for outings and other events.
